The Diabetes Research Group is a group of investigators based at the University of Washington and the VA Puget Sound Health Care System who are working to better understand why people get type 2 diabetes and other diseases related to obesity.

Parking and finding the Diabetes Research Group office:
The Diabetes Research Group is now located in Building 1, Room 236.
From the Building 1 elevators, go to the second floor; the clinic is directly to the left.
The best place to park is in Lot E.
From there, follow the signs to the South Entrance and enter Building 1 (past buildings 22 and 18, through the courtyard).
If you use the free valet parking, go in through the Main Entrance and follow signs for Building 1 or the Veterans Pathway (which leads to Building 1).
If you come in after 6 PM or on the weekend, use the Emergency Entrance (all others will be locked) and follow signs for Building 1 or the Veterans Pathway.
